Like the Alva Noto one I linked to the other week, here is another video I didn’t see coming – despite this being, I suppose, one of the more cinematic of Machinefabriek’s tracks (see album review here). It is all relative, of course. This is a bit on the downbeat side, but it is so wonderfully shot. Enjoy.
(hat tip to Ambient Blog. Well, to their twitter)

Hi,
Videos from this channel cannot be embedded, so you have to click the YouTube link to see the video. It’s worth it.

That’s what I meant!
All videoclips that are produced by this fund (‘videoclipfonds’) can not be embedden on other websites, and cannot be rated. So just click the link in the image to go to the YouTube page.

Yeah, I don’t know what that is all about. What a faff.

Had to look up the word ‘faff’ – thanks for google! (It’s not in my dictionary)
:-))
But I don’t think its’a waste of time. It’s still a beautiful video, despite the restrictions (no embedding, no rating). Worth clicking a youTube link.
The videoclipfonds is a fund making professional videoclips possible for indie (no-budget) artists. That’s a good thing. I would however not restrict the videos if I were them. But I’m not.

Oh I didn’t mean to imply that the video itself was a waste of time, it is beautiful as you say – just that the process itself was a bit of a scutter (you might need a Scots dictionary for that one). Good luck to them though!
